Cookies
This site runs on as few cookies as it can. Nothing here is used for advertising, and nothing follows you to other sites.
Always on
Cookieless analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and referrers in aggregate without setting cookies and without identifying you. Because it stores nothing on your device and cannot single you out, it needs no consent.
Your cookie choice. When you answer the banner we save that answer in your browser’s local storage so we stop asking. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Only with your permission
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*). If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies that let us see which issues get read, how people arrive, and which pages they leave from. They typically last up to two years. We have IP anonymisation on and advertising features off.
We load nothing from Google until you say yes, and a “no thanks” is remembered.

Blocking cookies yourself
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Doing so will not break anything on this site — there is nothing here that depends on them.
For what we do with personal data more generally, see the privacy notice.
